Q&A

The hardest part of buying better menswear is knowing where to start.

Do you need some help with something specific? Are you in the market for a pair of jeans, but want to see what the options are before you head to the high street? (If you are, I recommend organic denim brand Kuyichi.)

If you’ve got a question about where to go for something better, drop me a line in the comments below – I’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours.

As a businessman, i’m looking for ‘that’ pair of shoes, which will last me a number of years. Good quality leather, hand made, and nothing of a default design that you might find in your average retail store. Any ideas?

    Hi Seyhan –

For shoes appropriate for the typical office, I would recommend you head to The Natural Shoe Store.

They carry a range of shoe designers – which makes it a great footwear retailer for choice. Their bench mark is well-made, well-designed shoes, but the collections within this criterion vary greatly in style.

If you can visit the store in Neal Street, Covent Garden, you really should. The customer service is great – and the shoes are laid out for your perusal (plus the added benefit of being able to try them on). If not, visit their website .

For shoes to wear in the office in particular, I recommend you look into the collections from Hudson, Grenson, and Think.

    Good Luck!

    HJ
